Blog Update #4 Part 2: Schematics, Harmoni's IP, & Pre-Seed Round #2

Aside from bringing Melodi's vision to life through stylized renderings, work has remained ongoing with electronic design development, securing a trademark for Harmoni, and putting together all my newest resources to commence Pre-Seed Round #2 fundraising!

Electronic Design: Schematics

Recently, schematics have been designed for Melodi's integrated MIDI Controller; this presents the electronic components for the board while also showing how everything will be connected. With this, work is now taking place toward designing a custom PCB board.

Pre-Seed Round #2 Fundraising

2020 Sound's second round of fundraising will soon commence, aiming to cover all the expenses related to physical prototype development. To date, a brand new pitch deck has been designed from the ground-up to depict recent progress; this includes key figures, stats, and product offerings in the company's business plan.

Please note that some of the attached prices are only estimates; accurate figures will be provided once development progresses further. There will also be miscellaneous expenses related to travel, hotel, focus group sessions, and studio recording sessions not displayed in this picture.

Harmoni Trademark Application

Harmoni, a music production-based cloud service to be offered alongside and separate from Melodi, is now undergoing review for a trademark. I filed an application on August 23, 2021, and it was assigned Serial Number 90898044. Please refer to the logo below to see Harmoni's new brand image.

October 4, 2021 UPDATE: As of today, Harmoni will no longer be a part of 2020 Sound LLC's business offerings; I will handle this platform under a separate entity known as Harmoni Inc. (C-Corporation). This service will not only follow an entirely different development path, but it will also satisfy different needs than that of Melodi.
